Abortion does hurt after all

Planned Parenthood

The British Journal of Psychiatry recently published an analysis on how abortion affects women’s mental health. It was a meta-analysis combines 22 studies of 877,181 women, 163, 831 of whom have had abortions.

This is an interesting opposition to the one published by the American Psychological Association which fails, or refuses to prove the link between depression and other mental health problems in post-abortive women.

Got to think about the movie “Shrek Forever After”, the ogre Shrek thinks his life has lost its meaning, and he has lost all his freedom. He cannot do what he used to do and even people say to him “when you used to be an ogre”.

Then out of thin air, Rumpelstiltskin appears and wine’s and dine’s him and shows him a magical contract that will give him back all that he has lost because he now is tied down because of his wife and kids. If only for a day.

But there is a caveat; he will take something from Shrek. Something Rumpelstiltskin claims, Shrek won’t miss.

Eventually we realize what he took, and how this affected and took all he had – including his life. There is an exit clause and Shrek has to truly work to escape the insidious contract.

Back in this plane of existence, on many occasions, women in pregnancy crisis think, or are made to think that their lives are ruined. They are frequently shown only one alternative to their problem.

quick solution to all their woes.  A simple, “safe and legal” procedure that will allow them to put their lives back to where they were before.

The study published by the British Journal of Psychiatry reveals an 81% increased risk of mental health problems after abortion.

These mental health problems increase were broken as follows:

  • Anxiety disorders 34%
  • Depression 37%
  • Alcohol use/abuse 110%
  • Marijuana use/abuse 220%
  • Suicide behaviors 155%

Rumpelstiltskin deals a bad contract no matter what his claims might be.

In real life, there are no re-dos. And this is no made-up science like other so-called studies. If any, look at the amount of female suicides in countries such as China, or South Korea, the latest dubbed “Abortion Paradise” where at least 43.7% of the pregnancies end in abortion.

In real life, this kind of contract is the caveat.
