President Obama, remember all the lives lost

This past Wednesday marked the 12th anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. There were 2,977 deaths, not including the 19 terrorists, and it was a day I or no one else will ever forget about. There was suffering, screaming, people jumping from buildings, panic attacks, and dehydration just to name a few descriptions of the scene.

What is also sad is we have a 9/11 tragedy in this country every day when it comes to abortion. Over 3,000 babies are killed every day, over 1 million a year and pro-abortion advocates don’t seem to have a problem with this. Our country as a whole should react the same way to abortion as we did on 9/11. The only difference here is the stage of life.

President Obama gave a moment of silence marking the 12th anniversary of 9/11.”Our hearts still ache for the futures snatched away, the lives that might have been,” he said. He also spoke briefly about the one year anniversary of the four Americans killed in the Benghazi attack. “We pray for all those who have stepped forward in those years of war — diplomats who serve in dangerous posts, as we saw this day last year in Benghazi.” Its nice to see President Obama give a moment of silence for those that lost their lives on 9/11 outside the White House, but it becomes ironic when he won’t give a moment of silence for all those babies slaughtered every single day.

President Obama needs to be asked when he thinks life begins. He has given sympathy for those lost on 9/11, and for the kids who were killed by chemical weapons in Syria. Does he think life starts at some point during pregnancy, and if not, how long after pregnancy before he considers them human? It is scary to fathom the fact Obama has supported partial birth abortion three times as an Illinois Senator, and some of the youngest victims of 9/11 were under the age of 2, so its unthinkable for Obama to support the killing of a newborn, which is not that much younger.

What is even worse is not only does Obama support partial birth abortion, but so do many pro-abortionists. They too would show sympathy for victims as young as 2 on 9/11, but not for victims as young as 2 days old being slaughtered in a partial birth abortion. Its evident that nowadays, the mother’s womb can be a dangerous place for a baby, when it should always be the safest place. I call on pro-abortionists to not only grieve and show sympathy for those lost on 9/11, but show it for those  babies killed through abortion as well.
