This is really dumb. You are right; it's not Kleenex; it's a blastocyst with no established neural pathways. So what? How dare you trivialize the potential and livelong damage to a birthed woman in caring an unwanted pregnancy to term. Abortion needs to remain safe and legal. Women/girls have an inalienable right to protect their psyches and physical bodies.

This is the beauty of Human Creation, just to point at the fact of how important is to defend HUMAN LIFE. As Mother Teresa did.

>>>to indicate that sensory systems in the brain are active and processing at very early stages<<<

While some would argue that pain systems are not developed until 2O-24 weeks, if there is even the slightest chance that unborn children feel pain and suffer, society needs to look at that.

Even if babies were incapable of feeling pain at any time in pregnancy does still not change the fact they are living humans, entitled to life.

It's good to see that common sense prevailed in this instance. It's sickening that the pro-choice movement is so aggressive in pushing their agenda to destroy human life under the auspices of choice.

Joshua, laws and morality DO mix. Every law is the government enforcing their chosen morality. Apart from moral reasons, is there really any reason why rape should be illegal? How about killing the elderly off? Yet, those things are illegal in civilized countries. How is killing a child any different?

Since murderers are going to kill people anyway, perhaps we should make it safer and more legal for them to do so? Perhaps build medical centers for such a practice? I believe that Germany did that once. It didn't end well.
