Not all choices are created equal. And the line pro-choice is just obsfucation of what that choice is and why folks are opposed to that choice being legalize (for same reasons we oppose genoicide, serial killings, mass murder, etc., etc.).

I didn't say child abuse isn't a big deal. I didn't say that older men should be allowed to manipulate young girls into sexual relationships.

What I said was that (pay attention now, we have come to the part that requires some thinking on your part) health care professionals are there to serve the interests of the young girls who come to them for help, not to rat them out to the cops.

That's why the pro-choice argument of "it's free choice" does not work. Guess what? Child rape and predatory also involves FREE CHOICES- at the expenses of other human beings. Just like abortion. And like abortion, it is wrong.

Although I personally am against abortion, I do not deny that people- men and women- have free choice. If they choose to go to someone who will assist them, that is their choice.

But when that assistance is going to help cover for illegal practices- Child rape and sexual predators- It is WRONG. Pro choicer or life, it is still illegal.

Reporting young people's sexual relationships to the police is harassment. The only reason this is being insisted upon is because it creates pain and suffering that makes it much more difficult for a young person to exercise her right to get an abortion.

Forcing a young girl to bear a baby as "evidence" that has to be "preserved" in order to enforce any law, let alone laws that are largely antiquated, ignored and unenforceable to begin with is basically, radically, inhumane. In actual fact, of course, prosecuting cases of "sexual abuse" is not what this is about. Its about harassing young girls who are simply exercising their rights under the law and those who are helping them.
