John, as a Jewish person (culturally, not religiously,) I agree. Whenever one demographic wants to eliminate or erode the rights of another, they downplay that demographic's humanity.

Nazis vs. Jews.
Hutu vs. Tutsi
Southern slaveowners vs. slaves.

History repeats itself, and now mothers and fathers are pitted against their very own seed. It breaks my heart.

Thank you Katie for a wonderful article.
Abortion is the new holocaust. The abortion clinics are the modern gas chambers. For the Jews substitute the unborn. Over 50 million unborn children have been murdered since Roe V Wade. This is a fight between good and evil.
Those who carry out abortions or in any way facilitate them are the agents of Satan. See a video on youtube called An Unborn Child's Prayer:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KT34a0_klG8

It is very frustrating watching the cars pull in the driveway and park. A door opens and a frightened teen steps out. You try to speak, an umbrella is opened in front of you by a snickering clinic death-scort. The teen is led across the parking lot by an angry parent or friend who blames YOU for making the girl feel guilty about "her choice". You want to sound calm and helpful, but in your heart, you know this baby is being led to the slaughter, the mother to a lifetime of mental anguish...it raises your heart-rate, your voice rings with the desperation you feel. The teen disappears into the clinic, looking longingly at her last hope, while on the sidewalk you stand there, helpless and prayerful.
When will they learn, listen, believe?
The heart break is the young men and ladies, confused and afraid, being led by seemingly helpful medical/counseling staff, to commit an irreversible atrocity that will weigh on their conscience for the rest of their lives. Some will recognize that what they did was kill their own child. But most will become angry, bitter and calloused in order to deal with their misguided "choice". No normal person wants to think of themselves as a cold-hearted killer. If they let down their guard, they have to deal with the unthinkable.
Stand fast, Live Action!! We need you!! Thank you!!

What a heart-rending account of the battle for the lives of the most defenseless, innocent victims of all, our precious unborn children. I can so relate to the heartbreak of the young father who felt the frustration and futility of trying to save the life of his helpless baby, because 27 years ago, I was that young man. Every day of my life I wonder what our lives would've been like, and I am haunted by the fact that I didn't fight hard enough to save the life of my first child.

I wrote an account of that tragic day entitled "Love Song to the Son I Never Knew," here: http://hopeforthehelpless.net/iwonder/lovesongtotheson.html

The song I wrote commerating the 25 th anniversary of my son's death, entitled "I Wonder," is on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QP44BEGnXec

Thank you, Lila Rose, for the ground-breaking inroads you are creating in our collective fight for Life, and I must add that I am so encouraged and impressed with "Katie's" insightful and compassionate heart, and her mature, compelling account of this difficult day. Thank you for your tender heart!

God Bless,
