Live Action Celebrates One Year Post-Roe & Calls on Congress to Protect Life on June 23 

Pro-Life Movement Calls for Full Protection for Human Life through the 14th Amendment

Washington, D.C. — Pro-life organization Live Action – one of the nation’s leading human rights organizations – will host a press conference to promote the New North Star – Human Rights for all Humans. 

Please join Lila Rose at our nation’s capital to commemorate the victorious anniversary of the end of Roe, to share and acknowledge all the preborn lives saved in pro-life states, and to send a clear message to Congress that our fight to build a culture of life in America is just beginning.

Lila Rose, president and founder of Live Action, shared the following statement: “It’s been one year since Roe v. Wade was overturned. While this was an incredible pro-life victory, our fight to make abortion unthinkable and to support families is far from over. Some of the most extreme pro-abortion state laws that kill children have gone into effect in pro-abortion states since the overturning of Roe on June 24, 2022. Some preborn children are being killed as you read this, cruelly and unjustly.  Big Abortion’s voice is loud, and their money is far-reaching. Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion are counting on us to be content with the end of Roe and to become complacent, but our fight is just getting started.  Our constitution guarantees every person equal protection and due process under the law. It is Congress’ responsibility to ensure those protections are enforced.”

Rose will be joined by elected leaders, medical professionals, and prominent pro-life leaders. They will be available for comment after the event. 

“The right to life for every child – beginning at fertilization –  must be recognized,” concluded Rose. “We will not stop until abortion is unthinkable; June 23 will mark an important milestone towards that goal.”
