A series of hidden camera videos, shot in abortion facilities across the United States, reveals the exploitative tactics abortionists and clinicians employ to conceal the truth about abortion from women seeking honest and accurate information. Leading embryologists have denounced Planned Parenthood’s conduct caught on tape as “absurd and scientifically erroneous.”
The American Medical Association’s Code of Medical Ethics states, “The physician’s obligation is to present the medical facts accurately to the patient.”
Live Action’s undercover investigation demonstrates that Planned Parenthood will even deny a pregnant woman her right to know the basic scientific facts about her own pregnancy. The deliberate withholding or fabrication of basic information to sell more abortions should mean the immediate revocation of medical licenses and full prosecution under the “informed consent” laws that exist in nearly every state.
Investigations
Under the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, a child who survives an abortion is guaranteed protection under the law and the full rights of citizenship. However, these infants are often left alone to die, struggling for life, or killed by abortionists themselves. Caught on Live Action’s undercover investigative tapes, abortionists also admit they would refuse infants who survive abortions in their facilities life-saving medical care.

Footage from an Appleton, WI, Planned Parenthood shows clinic staff, including the abortionist, lying to two of our undercover investigators about fetal development and encouraging the one who is pregnant to obtain an abortion because “women die having babies.”
In the undercover video, when the two women ask a Planned Parenthood counselor if the pregnant woman’s 10-week-old preborn child has a heartbeat, the counselor emphasizes the term “heart tones” and answers, “Heartbeat is when the fetus is active in the uterus–can survive–which is about seventeen or eighteen weeks.”
On the contrary, embryologists agree that the heartbeat begins around three weeks from fertilization.
Wisconsin’s informed-consent law requires that women receive medically accurate information before undergoing an abortion.

A staffer tells a woman who is reportedly six to eight weeks pregnant that, at this stage, her baby has “no arms, no legs, no heart, no head, no brain.” The staffer states that the preborn child at this stage has no “identifiable parts” and is just “fetal matter.” The staffer emphasizes the difficulties of adoption, urges the woman to obtain an abortion as soon as possible, and claims that abortion images are fabricated.

When our undercover investigator, purportedly 10 weeks pregnant, asks the clinician when her baby’s heart begins to beat, Sarah replies, “It’s around…I think the eighth or the ninth week that you can hear the heartbeat.”
The heart heart actually begins beating around three weeks after fertilization.
The Planned Parenthood clinician also insists, “It’s not a baby, it’s a fetus,” which, she claims, is “not like a person.”
