New Poll Shows Impressive National Support for Texas Heartbeat Law
Washington, D.C. – Today, Live Action, a human rights nonprofit with the largest and most engaged following in the global pro-life movement, issued a statement on a new public opinion poll that found 46% of Americans support Texas’ heartbeat law vs only 43% who oppose it.
Lila Rose, Founder and President of Live Action, responded:
“This poll illustrates what years of education and advocacy on behalf of our shared humanity have accomplished: America is trending pro-life. Despite the nearly uniform opposition the biased media has shown towards this successful effort to protect some of our youngest children, more Americans support banning abortion after the baby’s heartbeat can be detected than support the inhuman practice of killing her in the womb. This poll should make every American who values the human right to life optimistic for what is to come, and it should make Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry, which profit from the bloodshed of children, fear that the days are numbered for their human rights abuses.”
Live Action is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to exposing the truth about abortion and affirming the life of every child. Live Action exists to change hearts and minds about abortion through compelling educational media, human interest stories, and investigative reporting that exposes the lies and corruption in the abortion industry. With the largest online following in the pro-life movement, Live Action’s videos and content reach millions of people every week. Find out more at http://www.liveaction.org
