On the 48th anniversary of Roe v. Wade — after 62 million innocent human beings have been slaughtered in the name of “choice” — President Joe Biden has vowed to codify abortion as a right and to appoint abortion-friendly judges.
“The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to codifying Roe v. Wade and appointing judges that respect foundational precedents like Roe,” said Biden in a statement. “We are also committed to ensuring that we work to eliminate maternal and infant health disparities, increase access to contraception, and support families economically so that all parents can raise their families with dignity. This commitment extends to our critical work on health outcomes around the world.”
Dignity
The word “dignity” is overused by those who support death over life. But there is nothing dignified about abortion. It violently ends the lives of innocent human beings and traumatizes women. Tearing the arms and legs off of preborn children capable of feeling pain and capable of living outside the womb is not about dignity. Abortion is a billion-dollar industry that capitalizes on the crisis situations of desperate women. The legalization of abortion was built on lies and no platitudes about “dignity” will ever justify the deaths of 62 million children and the pain their mothers carry.
This is not dignified:
Contraception
Biden’s plan to increase access to contraception includes forcing religious groups to pay for contraception against their deeply held religious and moral beliefs. This would force people of faith — including those who share President Biden’s purported faith, Catholicism — to violate their consciences. Biden believes his purported Catholicism shouldn’t prevent him from being complicit in abortion, and in turn, he has chosen to force others — even Catholic nuns — to violate their own consciences by paying for other people’s birth control, some of which is potentially abortifacient.
Health Outcomes
Abortion is not health care and does not save lives. Rather, it ends lives through horrifically brutal means. President Biden believes that expanding abortion “extends to our critical work on health outcomes around the world,” but he’s wrong. As other Democratic presidents before him, Biden plans to rescind the Mexico City Policy, which prevented U.S. federal tax dollars from funding abortions overseas. Most Americans support the policy; without it, pro-life nations around the world will lose the advocate for life that they had in the United States government. Additionally, Biden will be propping up organizations which promote abortions in nations that do not welcome it.

“If we’re talking about abortion, well, I don’t think that any Western country has a right to pay for abortions in an African country, especially when the majority of people don’t want abortion… that then becomes a form of ideological colonization,” explained Obianuju Ekeocha, Founder and President of Culture for Life Africa.
Making abortion the symbol of American freedom
“In the past four years, reproductive health, including the right to choose, has been under relentless and extreme attack,” said Biden. “We are deeply committed to making sure everyone has access to care — including reproductive health care — regardless of income, race, zip code, health insurance status, or immigration status.”
Biden has promised the abortion industry that he will push legislation through Congress to make Roe the law of the land. The land of the free and the brave denies preborn human beings their freedom to live and Biden plans to ensure that America will pay for a woman’s abortion if she is poor or of color, whether she truly wants the abortion or not.
Abortion is not health care, it is not a solution to societal woes, and it is not freedom. It is oppression, and the expansion of abortion allows other real issues facing American women to continue to be ignored.
