92 organizations pledge support for Planned Parenthood in light of baby parts scandal

In a letter to several congressional leaders, 92 organizations pledged ongoing support to Planned Parenthood. The letter praised the services Planned Parenthood provides, while dismissing the overwhelming body of evidence detailing the abortion giant’s sale of aborted baby parts.

The letter goes on to make this statement: “The organizations signing this letter work closely with Planned Parenthood…” The close involvement with – and total support of – Planned Parenthood is no surprise in regards to most of these organizations, such as NARAL, Abortion Care Network, and the ACLU.

Advocates for Youth, an organization which focuses on “adolescent reproductive and sexual health,” posted this to their website:  “We are fed up. Every day, Planned Parenthood affiliates and independent abortion providers around the nation give compassionate care to women who need abortions. I am fed up with the ongoing attacks on these brave and committed providers.”

Medical Students for Choice had this to say: “The latest attacks on Planned Parenthood are not about fetal tissue. It is a direct attack on abortion and those committed to providing this safe, simple procedure in their communities.”

It should come as no surprise that pro-abortion organizations, who admit they “work closely with Planned Parenthood,” would rush to the defense of the corporation. The letter reveals nothing new; instead it attempts to build upon the illusion that Planned Parenthood enjoys universal support – except among “extremists.”

While these organizations have committed to stand with Planned Parenthood despite its illegal practices, many businesses and organizations have distanced themselves from the abortion giant, as evidence against the abortion provider continues to mount.

Below is a list of the 92 organizations which signed the letter declaring support for Planned Parenthood.
