Stanton Healthcare is a pro-life women’s health care clinic based in Idaho with affiliates in other states as well as Ireland. Stanton offers a host of services for women, including pregnancy verification, options counseling, STD testing, post-abortion exams and support, client advocacy, child birth education classes, and practical assistance. Stanton seeks to provide women and their children with the highest quality in true health care, rather than pressuring or coercing them into buying abortions.
In short, it’s the type of health care provider Planned Parenthood should be (and apparently is) worried about.
Last year, after Stanton opened a facility next door to a Planned Parenthood, the abortion business immediately began to file petty complaints against the pro-life group, including reportedly calling police when a Stanton employee allegedly stepped on Planned Parenthood’s grass. Planned Parenthood also sued Stanton, claiming the life-affirming group next door is creating a “nuisance.”
On Tuesday, Stanton Healthcare will be partnering with one of Idaho’s leading hospitals to provide mammograms via a mobile mammogram unit. Brandi Swindell, Founder and CEO of Stanton Healthcare, explains:
This is another major step in our goal to replace Planned Parenthood with clinics that provide true quality women’s health care and not abortion. As the federal government moves to defund Planned Parenthood, it is critical that we replace them with clinics that are not abortion focused and don’t treat women as a commodity.
Stanton Healthcare is just one example from among the thousands of clinics that could serve to replace Planned Parenthood, should the abortion business be defunded. Pro-abortion talking points, claiming that defunding Planned Parenthood would deprive women of health care, become obvious for what they are when one takes the time to look beyond the pink signs. Planned Parenthood isn’t the only option for women’s health care.
Barbara Latten, BSN RN and Nurse Manager/Wellness Director for Stanton, believes Stanton is making progress in serving as a model for women’s health care. “Preventative services such as mammogram screenings empower women to be proactive in their health and well-being,” she said. “By offering our services at little to no cost for our clients, we are showing the way forward in offering holistic, compassionate and quality women’s healthcare.”
