Report: Attorney tries to push abortion on immigrant teen in her custody

planned parenthood, woman, sexual abuse

Rochelle Garza is an attorney known for taking the federal government to court. Garza claims to represent illegal immigrant women — usually minors — who Garza says are seeking abortions. Garza tells the court that the federal government must allow and facilitate abortions of illegal immigrants. One of the cases Garza has taken on, Garza v. Hargan, is pending petition before the U.S. Supreme Court. However, a breaking news report asserts that Garza tried to push abortion on at least one of these minors.

The minor illegal immigrant woman is in federal custody, but somehow, Rochelle Garza and her partner, Myles Garza, were able to get themselves appointed as the teenager’s guardians. Fox News reports:

According to court documents filed this week by the Justice Department, the woman said her guardians, Rochelle Garza and Myles Garza, assisted her on Feb. 6 by giving her documents to seek an abortion. The Garzas have represented other illegal immigrant minors seeking abortions.

But in a handwritten statement a day later, the woman in this case said she didn’t want an abortion anymore and didn’t want the Garzas representing her interests.

A federal judge has already granted the federal government’s request that the minor immigrant have different guardians appointed. The minor woman claimed the Garzas “made” her sign paperwork. She also wrote that she “do[es] not need their help because I do not want to have an abortion.”

It is unclear whether the minor immigrant woman originally asked for an abortion and later changed her mind, or whether she was attempting to ask about abortion as well as parenting or adoption options. However, according to the pregnant minor, it is clear that Rochelle Garza is unable to put the interests and desires of women ahead of her own abortion agenda.

Such an ‘abortion-first’ mindset is on par with Planned Parenthood, the United States’ largest abortion corporation. Planned Parenthood regularly turns away women who seek prenatal care or factual, medical information about pregnancy.

A series of recent investigative phone calls found Planned Parenthood telling women that ultrasounds were only available if they wanted — and paid for — an abortion. Former Planned Parenthood managers confirmed this practice on video:
