A new book has just been released addressing the hard issue of abortion — but what makes this book special is that it’s for children. The new book, Pro-Life Kids, teaches young children the value of each human life and age-appropriately explains what abortion is. Not only that, but it encourages children to stand up for the voiceless and to defend the preborn.

The hardcover book starts by valuing the reader with phrases like, “Your life is important,” “You’re one of a kind,” and, “There’s only one you.” This life-affirming theme permeates the entire story as author Bethany Bomberger, co-founder of The Radiance Foundation, shows children that every person is created to be unique and that all lives were created equal and with a purpose. The book goes on to point out how slavery and the Holocaust were times when people weren’t treated with love or equality, and relates those instances with the current human rights violation of abortion. Using G-rated wording and vibrant and eye-catching cartoons, Pro-Life Kids gently describes how abortion hurts children and deprives the world of beautiful lives that deserve to be loved.
The book also gives children ideas for how to show love to other people and encourages them to use their voices to speak truth into each other’s lives. Gathering diapers for a local pregnancy center, sharing their own adoption stories, praying for abortion to end, and being kind to others are just a few suggestions this book gives children to stand up for life. In the back of the book, there are even short biographies of real pro-life children and how they’ve used their voices to share the truth about life.
Bethany’s husband Ryan Bomberger has become well-known for his outspokenness on topics including abortion, adoption, racism, the family, and more. Bethany has also been instrumental in touching the lives of many, serving as the executive director for The Radiance Foundation. Bethany speaks at locations across the nation on topics promoting the value of human life, the importance of adoption (her husband Ryan was adopted, and together the couple has adopted children themselves), as well as the desperate need for whole families. Bethany’s knowledge and experience in this arena are undeniable as she is the mother to four children whom she homeschools, and has also served for years in the public and private school systems.
Bethany has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Family Studies and a Master’s Degree in education. Her teaching experience extends to four different states and stretches to multiple grade levels. She has also served on many school committees, including the National Council for Teachers of Mathematics. Her passion in life is to show children that they are loved and to fight for the children who cannot speak for themselves.
Bethany’s passion to value every child’s life evident in Pro-Life Kids — released on November 11 and available now. Purchase your copy here.
