Pro-life organizations are joining together to sponsor the 8th annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children on September 12, 2020. Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, Priests for Life, and the Pro-Life Action League are asking pro-lifers around the United States to visit and honor the gravesites and memorials of aborted children.
There are 54 gravesites for aborted children throughout the U.S. as well as dozens of memorials built to honor abortion victims. In all, 160 locations will participate in the National Day of Remembrance this year. The most recent burial took place at Southlawn Cemetery in South Bend, Indiana, where the 2,411 bodies of babies killed by the late abortionist Ulrich Klopfer were laid to rest. The bodies were discovered in his garage and in a car parked in a gated lot of a business in Illinois.
Prayer vigils will be held at the gravesites and memorials, and pro-lifers can use prepared prayers available on the website if they wish.

The first National Day of Remembrance for Abortion Children was held in September 2013 on the 25th anniversary of the burial of the remains of about 1,500 abortion victims in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With over 100 memorial services held that day, the event became annual with future dates planned as far as September 2024.
