A British woman is claiming that the abortion giant MSI Reproductive Choices UK (formerly known as Marie Stopes International) misrepresented her claims against a doctor who gave her the abortion pill reversal treatment.
Daily Mail and Christianity Today are reporting that the woman, known only as Kate, had regrets after she took the first of two abortion pills. She contacted Dr. Dermot Kearney, who administered progesterone, which is the standard procedure for abortion pill reversal treatment and which has long been used to treat women at risk of miscarriage. At the same time, she also contacted MSI, which had administered the abortion drug to her.
Unfortunately, the attempt to stop the abortion using progesterone was unsuccessful and Kate experienced a difficult miscarriage, which resulted in a trip by ambulance to the hospital. While there, MSI medical director Jonathan Lord asked her how she acquired the progesterone.
Kate claims that Lord then twisted her words and used them to go after Kearney, which was not what she wanted.
“He tried to manipulate me to say I had concerns about Dr. Kearney’s intervention,” she said. “He suggested that he could fast-track me through the system to get counseling if I gave him what he wanted. It felt like a passive-aggressive bribe and that I wasn’t a human being, I was just another number.”

“[Lord] was insistent that I gave him the information he wanted even though I told him I was unwell,” she added.
“He then followed up with an email and told me the GMC [General Medical Council] would be in touch about the progesterone. I felt scared and pressurized by him at a time when I was vulnerable.”
In May, MSI used testimony like Kate’s in a complaint that Dr. Kearney was prescribing progesterone even though they claim there is “no evidence base” behind it. Kearney was subsequently ordered by the medical regulator to stop prescribing the drug, and he now faces a full hearing, where he could be struck off the medical register.
The abortion industry is often quick to claim that progesterone is ineffective, despite overwhelming evidence that it can save children and mothers who experience regret after taking the abortion pill. According to the Abortion Pill Reversal Network, more than 2,000 babies have been saved through this method.
Kate is currently being supported by the Christian Legal Centre. In a statement made before the GMC, she said, “Marie Stopes are to blame for what happened to me, not Dr. Kearney. I have been used by them for this complaint and in so doing they have breached my confidentiality. I am still in touch with Dr. Kearney. He did not push anything on me – he just cared. If it wasn’t for him, I think I might even be dead by now.”
