A Canadian student pro-life club has been stripped of its club status and funding not because they have violated any rules, but simply because they advocated for human life. This blatant bigotry shows the intolerance of anti-life forces by the University of Victoria’s Students’ Society.
A decision by the University of Victoria’s Students’ Society to strip the campus anti-abortion club of its official status and funding has drawn the ire of the B.C. Civil Liberties Association. The student society took the action against Youth Protecting Youth after receiving a complaint that anti-abortion advocacy “inherently discriminates” against women.
