The legal case against abortionist Ulrich Klopfer moves forward as the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana considers whether or not it will renew his medical licenses.
The Indiana-based abortionist first drew scrutiny after failing to report the sexual abuse of three minor girls which is a violation of Indiana’s mandatory reporting laws. WSBT, a CBS affiliate in Indiana, reported earlier this month that Klopfer is currently free to commit abortions, but that may not be the case for long:
The Indiana Attorney General‘s Office has requested a disciplinary hearing to consider the nearly two thousand violations alleged against him by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency. The AG’s report says that the licensing board should appropriately weigh these egregious offenses before making a decision about renewing the abortionist’s license:
Attorney General Greg Zoeller’s Office today filed administrative licensing complaints with the Indiana Medical Licensing Board against four physicians for violations of abortion record-keeping and advice and consent laws. The complaints ask the board to consider appropriate disciplinary action against the medical licenses of these doctors operating in Lake, St. Joseph and Marion counties.
In the most egregious complaint, Dr. Ulrich Klopfer of South Bend, Ind. is accused of consistently submitting incomplete, inaccurate and late documentation of the abortion procedures he performs. His alleged violations total 1,833, and are based on complaints brought to the AG’s Office by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency…
Abortion advocates object to the AG’s actions, accusing his office of taking cues from the “anti-abortion tactics” of Right to Life groups, and flippantly glazing over the victimization of young girls, calling the requirements Klopfer failed to meet, “pedantic regulations.” We don’t think there’s anything pedantic about protecting 13-year-old girls from their rapists.
The decision regarding Klopfer’s medical license renewal is expected to come in October.
