In a completely out-of-touch move, White House Press Secretary, Josh Earnest, has insisted again today that Planned Parenthood is ethical.
Despite the grave concerns, shared by Democrats, Republicans, pro-choicers, and pro-lifers alike, the White House has stuck its head in the sand, blindly shouting that they see no wrong.
When a reporter attempted to ask Earnest about the investigative videos – which demonstrate Planned Parenthood’s probable violation of federal law – Earnest shot the reporter down, for the third time in a row.
Earnest pointed to media reports that raise “significant concerns about the way those videos were selectively edited to distort not just the words of the individual speaking, but also Planned Parenthood.”
“They subscribe [to] and implement the highest ethical standards in carrying out their operations,” he said of the nonprofit health group.
Clearly, the White House is not listening to the facts or to the American people. To claim that the videos are “selectively edited” demonstrates a clear refusal on the White House’s part to even look online – a relatively simple task. A brief look would reveal that the full footage of each video is publicly available and, each time, was posted shortly after the initial cut versions.
Even committed supporters of Planned Parenthood have turned their backs on the corrupt abortion giant following the disturbing investigative videos. Multiple mainstream media outlets have called Planned Parenthood out for their horrifically brutal actions and disgusting conversations about harvesting baby body parts. More importantly, media outlets and government officials on nearly every level are calling Planned Parenthood out for its likely violations of HHS guidelines and federal law.
Still, the White House – tasked with upholding federal law – continues to stand by its supreme partner, Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
This should lead all Americans to question who President Obama really stands for – the American people or the American abortion giant, Planned Parenthood?
