On Thursday, the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List hosted a Capitol Hill screening of all the videos released so far by the Center for Medical Progress, documenting Planned Parenthood’s harvesting of aborted baby organs. SBA List invited congressional Democrats and their staffers to attend—over 2,000 in all.
The Daily Signal’s Kelsey Harkness took the photo below of the room where the screening took place, and reported that just nine staffers attended.
Three aides to Representatives Jan Schakowsky, Judy Chu, and Grace Napolitano walked out early, and one repeated the claim that the tapes had key footage edited out “according to independent forensic analysts.” Planned Parenthood staffers also stood outside the room to hand out material defending the abortion giant.
“Deceptive editing” has been the top refrain of Planned Parenthood’s defenders, who argue that the videos take statements by top-level officials out of context.
However, extensive analysis of such claims has found that even with context, the videos strongly confirm how the abortion giant illegally profits off the sale of human organs. Planned Parenthood may also be illegally altering abortion procedures to obtain intact organs, performing illegal partial-birth abortions, and taking fetal remains without abortion seekers’ knowledge or consent, and even possibly killing infants born alive after botched abortions.
