Abortion clinic nurse to 13-year-old: Be brave; abort “for Jesus”

fetus, abortion, fetal tissue

A pregnant 13-year-old girl went to Dr. Henry Morgentaler’s abortion facility, but was anxious about going through with her  abortion. Frightened and having second thoughts about killing her baby, she brought the facility’s operation to a standstill. A nurse there encouraged the girl to have the abortion, using her faith to manipulate her. Author Eleanor Wright Pelrine, who interviewed Morgentaler about the incident, says:

At the moment requiring the most courage from the child, the nurse communicated with her on a level she understood, and urged her to be brave for her mother, and if she believed in Jesus, for Jesus. That calmed her a lot.

The thirteen year old went through with the abortion.
