Operation Rescue has obtained audio of a 911 call that reveals a woman was injured at an Aurora, Illinois Planned Parenthood on March 16.
According to the heavily-redacted audio, the woman was experiencing heavy bleeding and needed emergency transport to the hospital.
Though it was unclear what happened to this particular patient, this Planned Parenthood business commits surgical abortions up to 22 weeks of pregnancy.
The abortion procedure most commonly committed between 14 and 22 weeks is the dilation and evacuation (D&E) procedure. During this brutal process, the abortionist uses a Sopher clamp to grasp parts of the baby’s body, and he then dismembers the baby limb by limb. Once the child’s body parts are removed, he crushes the baby’s skull; the abortionist knows this is complete when he sees a white substance, which is the child’s brain. The entire process is a violent procedure that not only results in the death of an innocent child, but also carries a number of risks for the woman, including perforation of the uterus or cervix, infection, and hemorrhage.
This Planned Parenthood has also been the site of other known abortion injuries. In 2022, a woman was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance after suffering what is believed to be a perforated uterus, and in 2020, a woman needed emergency care after she was unresponsive following an abortion procedure. It is unknown how many injuries have occurred that were not documented by pro-life witnesses.
Operation Rescue President Troy Newman attributes the large number of abortion injuries in part to the state’s liberal abortion laws, which attract woman and girls from elsewhere to the state so that they may end the lives of their preborn children.
“It is heartbreaking that women and girls, deceived by the lies of the abortion cartel and the media, travel from neighboring states to Illinois abortion facilities,” Newman said in a statement.
“They obviously believe Planned Parenthood is an actual healthcare facility where they will receive legitimate care. Instead, they leave these centers as grieving post-abortion mothers with a lifetime of emotional wounds. And, far too often, these women leave lying on a gurney with life-threatening internal injuries.”
