Ambulance summoned to North Carolina abortion facility on Mother’s Day

Planned Parenthood, ambulance, abortion

Operation Rescue reports that a woman was carried out of a Greensboro, North Carolina, abortion facility in a medical emergency on Mother’s Day. A video shot by pro-lifers praying outside the A Woman’s Choice facility shows the woman being transported on a gurney from the facility to an ambulance. It is not known if the woman experiencing a medical emergency was an abortion patient.

According to Operation Rescue, the City of Greensboro has denied two requests for public records related to the incident captured on video. The city even refused to release records in which all personal identifying information has been redacted. However, the Operation Rescue did obtain an audio clip of the radio dispatch, reporting, “That clip indicated that Medic 61 was dispatched to 2425 Randleman Road, the address of A Woman’s Choice, at 12:03 p.m. for a ‘10-39 transport.’ According to a Guilford County 10 Code list, 10-39 means ‘Emergency run – lights and siren.’”

Jodell Allen is the abortionist for A Woman’s Choice, and is also the abortionist for three other facilities in North Carolina and Florida. In 2016, Allen was linked to the death of 18-year-old Diamond Williams following a botched abortion. Williams’ family continues to fight for answers about her death which occurred four days after a botched abortion.

The incident captured on video on Mother’s Day is far from the only emergency to occur at a North Carolina facility. At the abortion facility implicated in Williams’ death, at least 20 other women have been injured. While it is uncertain whether the incident on Mother’s Day involved abortion (though the likelihood is high), it is a reminder of the many other incidents that have yet to be fully investigated at North Carolina abortion centers.

Operation Rescue president Troy Newman noted, “There is just something tragically ironic about an abortion clinic killing babies on Mother’s Day. Every year that day would be a sad reminder to those women of the children they aborted.”
