UPDATE, July 30th, 2024: The Daily Wire has obtained the name of the man arrested for assaulting two elderly pro-lifers outside of a Baltimore Planned Parenthood.

28-year-old Patrick Brice was arrested and charged with five assault charges, including one first-degree assault charge, which is a felony, and one charge of assaulting an elderly person, according to court records. He was listed as standing 6’5″ tall, and weighing 200 pounds. His first court appearance is scheduled for August 1st, in Baltimore City District Court.

July 29th, 2024: Over a year after a brutal assault outside of a Baltimore Planned Parenthood facility left two elderly pro-lifers with serious injuries, the man responsible has been arrested.

In May of 2023, Mark Crosby and Dick Schaefer were praying outside the Planned Parenthood facility when a man, allegedly an escort for the abortion business, attacked them unprovoked. “He didn’t like their opinion or what was being said. The gentleman just took it into his own hands,” one witness said. “He speared the one gentleman over that flowerpot into the window and knocked him out. He was out cold for several minutes.”

According to the American Center for Law and Justice, the assailant first went after Schaefer, who was 84 at the time. Crosby, who was 73 at the time of the attack, tried to help, but the assailant then began attacking him also.

Schaefer suffered just cuts and scrapes, but Crosby was seriously injured, and had to be taken to the University of Maryland shock trauma facility. Crosby had “a fractured bone in his face, blindness in one eye, head and neck pain, two fractured fingers, and bruising on his arms and legs.” A statement from Baltimore County Right to Life further explained that Crosby had the plate bone in his cheek and the orbital bone around his eye socket completely shattered, and needing to be replaced with metal. He had to undergo several surgeries after the attack.

Baltimore County Right to Life additionally said several Planned Parenthood escorts stood by during the attack and did nothing, and were not willing to identify the assailant. A reward was offered, though it netted no information… until now. Though the attacker has not yet been named publicly, the ACLJ said he has been arrested.

“We refused to rest until justice was served for our clients,” the ACLJ said in a statement. “Now, it looks like the nightmare for Mr. Schaefer and Mr. Crosby might almost be over. Authorities contacted our clients, informing them that the suspect in this attack has been apprehended. A preliminary hearing in the prosecution has been set for August 1. We will keep you updated on further developments.”
