This child rapist got help from the abortion industry… twice. He’s not alone.

pro-life, abuse, trafficking

What would you do if a pregnant twelve year-old showed up at your door? Well, I can tell you what some Canadian “choice providers” did: They performed an abortion and sent her back home.

Twice.

A Winnipeg girl experienced that in 2011 and again 2012 after she was impregnated by her stepfather. Despite being below the age of consent, staff at two separate facilities failed to alert authorities. As a result, the abuse went undetected and the perpetrator remained free, allowing him to assault at least two other victims.

While the facts here are appalling, they aren’t unique. There’s a long list of American sexual predators who’ve also turned to the abortion industry for help. And as in the case above, they’ve had no trouble finding it.

Timothy Smith certainly didn’t. He went to Planned Parenthood in 2012 after getting his thirteen year-old stepdaughter pregnant. Like their Canadian counterparts, clinic staff performed an abortion and didn’t report what they saw.

Gary Cross got a hand with abusing his stepdaughter too.  He took the thirteen year-old victim to Planned Parenthood in 2002 after her mother noticed that she was gaining weight. While staff didn’t contact law enforcement, they did refer his stepdaughter for a late-term abortion. Cross went back to raping her when she got home.

Denise Fairbanks suffered a similar ordeal. At sixteen, she was taken to Planned Parenthood for an abortion by her abusive father. Fairbanks has described being ignored by clinic workers when she explicitly told them that her father had raped her. Fairbanks later sued, with Planned Parenthood opting to settle.

Tyler Kost

John Blanks, Jr., John F. Szorady, Adam Gault, and fifty other sexual predators also stayed out of jail by taking their victims to abortion clinics. Apparently Tyler Kost (pictured right) didn’t even have to do that – the alleged serial rapist seems to gotten help from Planned Parenthood without even knowing it.

Kost stands accused of raping over a dozen Arizona teens, one of whom went to Planned Parenthood for an abortion. Despite being the victim of sexual assault, she said clinic staff told her reporting the crime would require too much paperwork. The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office stated that an investigation could have opened months earlier if the report had been filed.

There’s evidence that far from being isolated cases, these examples are just the tip of the iceberg. The group Life Dynamics has recorded telephone calls to Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation centers. On each call, an actress claimed to be 13 and pregnant by her adult boyfriend. Literally hundreds of times, staff at these facilities were willing to hide the abuse by setting up a secret abortion.

Live Action has turned up similar findings. In 2008, Live Action founder Lila Rose visited a Planned Parenthood center in Memphis, TN. Claiming to be a fourteen year-old who’d been impregnated by her thirty one year-old boyfriend, Rose was told to lie about the man’s age when seeking an abortion. Visits to other clinics uncovered the same attitude.

The abortion industry routinely helps abusers. Meanwhile, taxpayers are helping the abortion industry. Planned Parenthood is America’s largest abortion chain, ending over three hundred thousand young lives every year. It’s also the annual recipient of half a billion tax dollars. If you’re not happy about that situation, then join Live Action in asking Congress to change it. A petition is available here, along with more proof of Planned Parenthood’s wrongdoing.

The fact is, there’s a lot we should be doing about sexual abuse. Giving a hand to those who commit it shouldn’t be one of them.
