Clinic worker describes strange behavior of abortionist

A former employee of an abortion doctor in Louisiana spoke about the strange behavior of one abortionist she worked for. She and the other clinic workers suspected that he was on drugs.  In an interview with long time pro-life activist Rachel MacNair, the former clinic worker said:

The word I got was that this particular doctor had a drug problem…The man definitely had some type of problem, because he would come to work and you could tell that he was either drunk or high on drugs or something. One day I recall telling him “Look, you don’t have any shoes on your feet. Why don’t you put your shoes on before you see patients?

Doctors who operate under the influence put patients at extreme risk.  Despite what pro-choice activists would have us believe, abortion is surgery, and like all surgeries, it carries risks. The recent batch of 9-1-1 calls from clinics show how easy it is for a doctor to botch an abortion.

The thought that a doctor was working under the influence of drugs is disturbing. How many women did he injure? Did he kill any? Since we don’t know the identify of the doctor, we don’t know. But serious injuries and even deaths from legal abortions are the industry’s dirty secrets.
