Company partners with NARAL to sell ‘pro-choice awareness’ bracelets

California-based company Pura Vida has partnered with NARAL Pro-Choice America to sell pro-abortion bracelets.

According to the company’s website, “Every bracelet purchased helps provide full-time jobs for local artisans in Costa Rica!” Unfortunately, the local artisans of Costa Rica may be unaware of the more than 190 charities Pura Vida gives to, including NARAL.

Each “pro-choice awareness” bracelet sells for $5 with the promise that 10 percent of all net profits made from the product will be donated to the pro-abortion organization.

Pura Vida, which means “pure life” in Spanish, refers to NARAL as a charity, claiming that it’s “constantly looking to expand our charity line and we try to support as many causes as possible.” Any organization that advocates for abortion on demand up until the moment of birth is not charitable. Charities help people; abortions kill the preborn and harm their mothers.

Dr. Anthony Levatino, a former abortionist who has performed over 1,200 abortions, explains the procedure of a second trimester abortion:

While the company may have good intentions in providing jobs for the people of Costa Rica, they’re missing the irony in their partnership with NARAL. The San Diego-based company says its name is all about “choosing to live life to the fullest,” but then supports a woman’s right to kill her own preborn child. Apparently only some people get to choose to live life to the fullest.

If Pura Vida really wanted to support living life to the fullest, it would support pro-life organizations like Live Action, Human Coalition, and Save the Storks, all of which support life-affirming choices for women and their preborn children.

You can respectfully voice your concerns about the company’s misguided partnership with NARAL by emailing Pura Vida at info@puravidabracelets.com.
