Daphne Oz on her pregnant body, and wanting “lots of kids”

Daphne Oz, daughter of Dr. Mehmet Oz and co-host on ABC’s The Chew, recently sat down with Fit Pregnancy magazine and gave an interview and photo shoot. Daphne has been very open about her pregnancy on Twitter and on TV, and she shares with Fit Pregnancy some of her thoughts on family, pregnancy, and loving her body. She shares:

I only came to appreciate how carefree and in love with my body I could be once I got pregnant.

I always knew that I wanted lots of kids. I’m one of those people who’s more comfortable with like thirty people around the dinner table, and luckily my husband wants a lot of kids, too.

What’s surprised me most about pregnancy so far I think has been how enjoyable it’s been and how much fun I’ve had. Not every day is a walk in the park… but every day feels like an adventure and it’s so new.

You can and you should talk to everyone who will give you advice… but at the end of the day don’t worry. The worst thing you can do for your baby is to have all the stress and the anxiety hormones running around all the time!

Millions of women have gone through motherhood before. And I’m just really grateful to be able to piece together this mystery of really creating a human!

Daphne, a first-time mom, is due in April.
