Doja Cat fans have mixed reactions to ‘evil’ video depicting abortion

Singer Doja Cat released a new video in August for her song “Paint the Town Red,” and it’s been receiving some heavy criticism for both its satanic theme and what appears to be an abortion carried out on what appears to be a demon baby.

Portions of the video show the singer nude and covered in dark paint with devil horns on her head. There is a naked male demonic figure with her and next to them appears to be an amniotic sac hanging by an umbilical cord with what looks like an embryo or fetus inside. She strokes the sac, and then cuts the umbilical cord as the preborn child falls to the floor.

As Oli London explained on X (formerly Twitter), “Doja Cat’s new satanic music video for ‘Paint the Town Red’ features her and a male devil with a womb hanging from the ceiling before she cuts it down — appearing to reference abortion.”

Artwork depicting the preborn baby was shared on Doja Cat’s Instagram page on August 3. The “‘Half’ acrylic” art was created by Doja Cat herself — real name Amala Dlamini —and shows both the male and female demons from the video with the baby hanging between them — a scene right out of the video.

While some fans rallied around the singer and praised her video, other individuals spoke out against it. On Twitter user commented, “And this is why abortion is evil.”

Another said, “I am no longer a fan.” And another wrote, “Horrific. Unbelievable evil is pervasive and being peddled by the media.”

Anna Lulis of Students for Life shared the apparent abortion clip, saying, “It’s not hard for us to see that abortion is literally the sacrament of satan. For anyone who doesn’t know, The Satanic Temple is opening the first ever religious abortion clinic network for ritual purposes. So it doesn’t necessarily shock me that celebrities are now promoting it in their music videos.”

Lulis added, “I just think this whole thing is incredibly ironic, because for years people claimed that pro-lifers were the ones that used abortion as a religious issue, but now it’s the satanists. I also think it’s important to note that every time I’ve talked to somebody who claims to be ‘pro-choice,’ they’re the first one to ever mention religion.”

She emphasized, “But abortion isn’t a religious issue. It’s a human rights issue, and no religion should ever promote brutally killing an innocent human being.”
