Four former Disney Channel stars from the 2000s have announced their pregnancies, and fans are so excited. Hilary Duff, Aly Michalka, Ashley Tisdale, and Vanessa Hudgens are all expecting babies this year.
Ashley Tisdale
Ashley Tisdale starred in Disney’s “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” from 2005-2008, as well as Disney’s “High School Musical” franchise. Tisdale and her husband Christopher French have a three-year-old daughter, Jupiter Iris, and Tisdale had said she didn’t want to have another.
“After I had Jupiter, I was like, ‘I’m not doing this again.’ I think it was like, physically really hard on me,” she explained. “It was just like, not for me the most amazing experience.”
She added, “I think I started to think about it in a way that like, what a blessing it is to be able to have this cute little baby come into the world. When I think about it, do I see Ju-Ju as like, an only child?” Watching her daughter play with other children ignited her desire to give her a sibling.

Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens starred alongside Tisdale in the “High School Musical” movies. In March, she announced her pregnancy at the Oscars. This will be Hudgens’ first baby with husband Cole Tucker.
In her Oscar Instagram post, one fan commented, “Congratulations about the baby!!! You’ll be a wonderful mother!!!”

Hilary Duff
Hilary Duff rose to fame as the star of the Disney Channel show “Lizzie McGuire,” which premiered in 2001. McGuire has three other children — Luca Cruz, 12 (whom she shares with her first husband Mike Comrie), Banks Violet, 5, and Mae James, 3. She is expecting her new baby with her husband, Matthew Koma.
While some criticized Duff for having four children, suggesting her husband have a vasectomy, most fans were happy. One wrote, “MY ICON I will have four kids bc you have four kids.”

Duff has said she loves being a mom. She called being a mother “the happiest, most beautiful experience.” She said it’s also been a “shocking” experience but, “Once you find yourself again, you have the biggest thing under your belt that nobody can take away from you and you’re so confident.”
“I love when everyone’s full of energy and the house is buzzing. You never know what the day is going to bring or what your kid’s going to say,” she said. “We’re in the thick of it, and it feels good.”
Aly Michalka
Aly Michalka first starred on the Disney Channel in 2004 on the show “Phil of the Future,” and in 2005 she played the lead in the Disney Channel movie “Now You See It….” She also starred in the network’s movie “Cow Belles” with her sister, with whom she has a band, Aly and AJ.
On Instagram in January she shared photos of herself with a pregnancy test and an ultrasound, writing, “We found out the morning of our sold-out show at The Greek Theatre back in September. Our little one has been on stage with me across three states already and has even done some international traveling!”
This is her first child with her husband, Stephen Ringer.

Ashley also commented on Aly’s pregnancy announcement saying, “So happy for you.”
