Planned Parenthood hides behind phrases like “Care. No Matter What.” It makes up strange slogans like “We’re your sexual experience.”
In an insane statement, Planned Parenthood claimed in an online ad that “[y]our baby will thank you.” For killing him? Wow…that’s an all-time low.
Speaking of all-time lows, let’s cover five little known facts about Planned Parenthood. They may surprise you…or not.
1) Planned Parenthood preys on victims of human trafficking.
The U.S. Department of Justice named the top 20 “human trafficking jurisdictions” in the nation. Based on 2014 information, Planned Parenthood has a whopping 58 clinics in these jurisdictions. Twenty-nine of them perform abortions.
Between these statistics and the evidence gained when Live Action went undercover, it’s clear that Planned Parenthood is not out to rescue trafficked girls. Four of the seven clinics investigated by Live Action are in the top 20 trafficking jurisdictions. Planned Parenthood is out to perform abortions on these girls and give their pimps whatever else they need to continue in forced slavery.
2) Planned Parenthood targets minorities.
This is no surprise, as Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, made racist and eugenic comments. However, the sad reality is that Planned Parenthood is helping to kill off minorities — particularly the black race.
Protecting Black Lives reports:
Abortions are decimating the Black community. According to the US Center for Disease Control and the Guttmacher Institute, more African American babies have been killed by abortion since its legalization than the total number of African American deaths from all other causes combined. Abortion has exterminated 30% of the Black community. As a result, Planned Parenthood is making huge sums of money at the tragic expense of the Black and Hispanic/Latino communities. …
Live Action has specifically investigated Planned Parenthood for racism and found it guilty as charged.
3) Planned Parenthood rarely utters the word “abortion” – in public.
“Abortion” can scarcely be found in Planned Parenthood’s fundraising letters. Its representatives usually don’t say the word on TV unless forced to. It’s all about choice and privacy and health care and women — publicly, that is.
Privately, in the deep recesses of Planned Parenthood’s clinics, women are given a much different treatment. Someone very close to me went into a Planned Parenthood and asked for help. She was planning to keep her baby. She was told that unless she wanted an abortion, they couldn’t help her. They provided her with a phone number for an OBGYN. When she called, it was disconnected.
Planned Parenthood’s latest annual report reveals:
- More abortions were performed than in the previous year. So many abortions, in fact, that 37 were done every hour.
- Fewer breast exams were given to women — and no mammograms.
- Adoption numbers were lower.
- 41% of Planned Parenthood’s budget came from the taxpayers…over $1.4 million every day.
Despite the claim that abortions are only “3%” of what Planned Parenthood does, the facts show that abortion provides a huge chunk of income:
In 2012, abortion provided, by very conservative estimates, $170 million for the abortion giant—a full 55.7 percent of its non-government clinic income.
4) More taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood means more abortions.
The Susan B. Anthony List says it best, in its “Top 12 Reasons to Defund Planned Parenthood Now“:
In 2000, Planned Parenthood performed 197,070 abortions while making 2,486 adoption referrals. In 2009, they performed 332,278 abortions and made just 977 adoption referrals. That means an 80 percent increase in taxpayer funding resulted in a 69 percent increase in the number of abortions and a 61 percent decrease in the number of adoption referrals.
Last year, for every one adoption referral, Planned Parenthood committed 174 abortions.
5) Planned Parenthood is under investigation for tax fraud.
The Government Accountability Office (GAO) is investigating Planned Parenthood’s use of federal funds. There have been a number of lawsuits based on accusations of Planned Parenthood’s tax fraud.

Despite the best and slickest market branding money can buy, the stubborn fact remains that Planned Parenthood clinics are among the most dangerous places on Earth for a child. It is deeply troubling that despite the fact that Planned Parenthood claims direct responsibility for killing over 6 million unborn babies, including a record 333,964 abortions in 2011 alone, they still receive taxpayer money… I’m pleased that the GAO will be investigating how much taxpayer money the abortion industry is receiving. Hopefully this will help us finally put an end U.S. taxpayer support, funding and complicity with this violence against children.
