Florida family’s trio of sisters born on same day… in different years

Last month, Jeremy and Sauhry Turner of Ocala, Florida, celebrated the arrival of their latest family member, a precious baby girl. What makes this moment even more extraordinary is the remarkable coincidence that the baby was born on the exact same day — September 3rd — as her two older sisters.

Astonishingly, Sauhry went into labor naturally every time, meaning that the same birth date for all three girls was entirely unplanned and the result of a pure coincidence.

The newest family member, Juliet, now joins the ranks of her two older sisters: Jasmine, who arrived in 2020, and Jessica, born in 2021. When Sauhry went into labor with Juliet, a sense of déjà vu washed over the couple as they realized, “It’s happening all over again!” The doctors at Juliet’s birth were equally amazed by the remarkable twist of fate, expressing their astonishment and sharing that they had never encountered such an extraordinary occurrence before.

“We celebrated the extraordinary when our team delivered the Turner family’s third child in four years with all three children sharing the same birthday,” Cindy Poirier, assistant vice president of Women’s and Children’s at AdventHealth Ocala, said in a statement. She went on, “Such a rare and exciting event reminds us of the magic of life and the connections we foster here in our community.”

Although it’s a rare occurrence, there are families with even more children sharing the same birthday. Guinness World Records reports that the Mangi family from Pakistan, comprising nine members, all celebrate their birthdays on the same day — August 1st.

According to a recent Fox News article, Jeremy beamed about being the dad of three girls, saying, “I’m the only guy in this home. I live with a bunch of girls now, but I love it. I know it’s something unique that doesn’t happen a lot. I’m the happiest father in Ocala. I am lucky to have these three girls born on the same day.”

Sept. 3 will forever be an extra special day in the Turner household. While singing “Happy Birthday” may bring some logistical challenges, the family wouldn’t have it any other way. They are planning a huge birthday bash next year with hopes of making a trip to Disney World as a bonding experience for the girls.

“I’m happy to see these three grow up and play with each other, and to see what they become in the future,” he said.

This remarkable occurrence is a testament to the fact each new life brings a precious and irreplaceable gift into the world, a sentiment exemplified by this trio of sisters who remind us all of the profound wonder and beauty of every human life.
