Generational genocide – a poem

By Sean Thomas Wise whose mother when pregnant with him was told he would not survive. She was advised by her doctor to abort Sean or “not come back”. She decided to keep Sean and while Sean almost died after birth, after much prayer and medical attention, he pulled through and has been surviving and thriving for over 22 years!

You tell me of the Holocaust and even the Sudan,
But you won’t tell the horrors right here in our homeland!
Three thousand people murdered every single day,
Through surgical procedure, a very strategic way.

Unplanned and unwanted, decidedly inferior
By a government that claims that the born are superior,
It’s not life or choice. It’s life or death; Pick a side,
But I will not support this generational genocide.
