Grey’s Anatomy star Sarah Drew announces second pregnancy

Sarah Drew, who plays April on primetime’s Grey’s Anatomy and recently starred in box office hit Mom’s Night Out announced recently that she is expecting her second child.

The baby, who will be welcomed by an older brother Micah Emmanuel, is due in December. “We can’t wait to introduce Micah to his little brother or sister,” she told People Magazine. And apparently, art imitates life for Drew, whose character on Grey‘s is also pregnant.

In the following video, Drew recounts her connection with her role in Mom’s Night Out — a stressed-out mom struggling with perfectionism. “If we could just let go of it [perfectionism] and be present, there’s going to be so much joy,” she said. “Not necessarily circumstantial happiness, but joy — deep joy.”
