New ‘I’m Alive’ tour aims to inspire churches to get involved in the pro-life movement

A new pro-life initiative, the I’m Alive tour, is hoping to spur churches into action within the pro-life movement. Described as “a pro-life tour helping individuals, families, and young people defend life and love our unborn neighbors and their mothers and fathers,” the nationwide tour aims to bring inspiration and pro-life training to church communities who may otherwise not understand how to approach pro-life issues or how to act in defense of life.

The tour is the combined efforts of Life Training Institute and Sarah Vienna Ministries. At its helm is Seth Gruber, West Coast Director of Life Training Institute. As a professional pro-life speaker, Gruber regularly tours the country, speaking at schools, churches, youth groups, conferences, and pregnancy resource center banquets. Partnering with Gruber is Sarah Vienna, a singer, songwriter, and international speaker.

Gruber says he recognized the need for such a tour after realizing that many churches aren’t equipped with the tools or know-how to help advance the pro-life culture.

“I spoke in a lot of churches in the last year, but was discouraged that not enough of them felt driven and inspired to create a pro-life ministry and starting changing minds and saving lives! So this pro-life church tour is geared toward capturing both the beauty and truth of the pro-life position, helping individuals and families defend life and love our unborn neighbors and their mothers and fathers,” he wrote in an email to Live Action News.

On the tour’s website, Gruber points out that 2,899 babies are killed every day in America. This correlates to 120 babies every hour, and two babies killed every minute. Many within American Christian churches are unsure how to respond to such atrocities. The tour’s initiative aims to teach those within the church how to condemn abortion while still loving the mothers and fathers who have had abortions. It also aims to educate people on how to engage a culture that is hostile to life.
