Lila Rose, founder and president of Live Action, is set to be one of the featured speakers at the SEEK 2019 conference taking place from January 3-7 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. SEEK is the biennial national conference hosted by FOCUS, a Catholic outreach program for college students. It attracts thousands of college students from across the country and offers prayer, fellowship, inspiring talks, and live entertainment aimed at encouraging students to enter deeper into their faith. Rose will deliver talks over the weekend on contraception and Catholic women in the world.
Rose recently appeared “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” as the Atlantic’s face of the Millennial pro-life movement, and in a video for PragerU, among many other media appearances. Rose speaks internationally on family and cultural issues and has addressed members of the European Parliament and spoken at the United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women. She has also been named among Red Alert’s “30 under 30,” National Journal’s “25 Most Influential Washington Women Under 35,” and Christianity Today’s “33 under Thirty-Three.”
The organization Rose founded, Live Action, is a media and news nonprofit dedicated to ending abortion and inspiring a culture that respects all human life. Through groundbreaking investigative reporting on the abortion industry and pro-life content, Live Action reaches millions of people through social media each week. Live Action’s most recent investigative series was Aiding Abusers: Planned Parenthood’s Cover-Up of Child Sex Abuse, demonstrating the abortion industry’s systemic complicity in failing to protect minors and victims of sexual abuse.
Other pro-life speakers at SEEK 2019 will include Stephanie Gray, author of “Love Unleashes Life: Abortion and the Art of Communicating Truth,” and Kathryn Jean Lopez, editor-at-large of National Review.
