1/12/19: The March for Life Chicago, with the theme of “Unique from Day One,” is set for tomorrow, January 13th, and will take place at Chicago’s Federal Plaza from 2:00-4:00 p.m. A crowd of at least 6,000 is expected. According to a press release:
Archbishop of Chicago, Cardinal Blase J. Cupich, and the Chicago Bears’ co-owner Pat McCaskey are among the featured speakers who will proclaim that science is on the side of life. They will be joined by Jeanne Mancini, National March for Life President, Rev. Dr. Matthew Harrison, President of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, and Ryan Bomberger, Founder of the Radiance Foundation, each of whom will speak to the message that humans are unique from conception forward, emphasizing that medical technology continues to reaffirm that fact.
Pro-life Congressman Dan Lipinksi (D-Ill.) is also expected to address the crowd.
Other pre-march events will begin tomorrow morning at 8:30 and will include a Youth Rally for Life as well as several masses for life. The Speak Out Illinois Rose Dinner will be held this evening, January 12th, at 5:30 p.m.
