A national abortion organization is pouncing on Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz after Cruz commented at CNN’s Town Hall this week that “every issue is a woman’s issue.” NARAL Pro-Choice America came out with guns blazing:
Ted Cruz says on #GOPTownHall “every issue is a woman’s issue.” So why doesn’t he support #reprofreedom for all so we succeed economically?

The abortion group followed up shortly with another comment:
And yet, Ted Cruz wants to take away our #reprorights, defund @PPFA & ban abortion. #GOPTownHall #OwnIt https://t.co/r3dkGLBuMw

The replies from pro-lifers came swiftly as well.
@NARAL Because you’re morons who think abortion leads to economic success? That’s just one guess, but a really good one.

@NARAL You mean like, selling enough dead baby parts to buy a pink Lambo? pic.twitter.com/Df6IVLl5be

@NARAL Pretty much the same argument your openly eugenicist predecessors made. Congratulations on not forgetting where you came from.

@NARAL @ppact is certainly succeeding economically: 2014 $1.4 BILLION net assets, $127 MILLION excess revenue, $40 MILLION travel & parties.

Of course anyone who understands the abortion industry also understands that, as some commenters noted on Twitter, the only economic success abortion guarantees is for the abortion facilities who charge, literally, for an arm and a leg–and a calvarium, and a thymus, and a liver, and a heart, and…
Having an abortion doesn’t guarantee any woman economic success. As current workers pregnant women are protected under federal laws. As future workers, they are free to place their babies with adoptive families and continue their educations or careers.
Abortion will never be the either/or fallacy its advocates claim it to be. There is another choice: Since life has begun, then the choice should be between being ready to raise her child or placing her child with another loving family who can. It is not necessary to kill a living person in order to guarantee economic success. Likewise, NARAL seems to be ignorant of the fact that a woman can have children and be successful in school or on the job.
Women are capable of much more than the abortion industry credits them. But then, if abortion profiteers were to admit that, they would be the ones unable to achieve economic success.
