National Abortion Federation asks pro-abortion judge to hold pro-life investigator in contempt
UPDATE, 4/5/24: On April 4, David Daleiden stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that Judge Orrick had ordered Daleiden to remove Center for Medical Progress (CMP) videos shown at the congressional hearing chaired by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene in late March from all websites and social media channels. Orrick gave Daleiden a 4pm deadline for compliance.
4/4/24: David Daleiden, founder of the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), shared on X that the National Abortion Federation (NAF), on behalf of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), has asked Judge William Orrick to hold Daleiden and CMP in contempt of court for reposting a subpoenaed video that was played publicly last month at a congressional hearing.
“On behalf of @PPFA, @NatAbortionFed is asking Judge Orrick — who opened, ran, and funded a @PPFA clinic — to hold me and @CtrMedProgress in contempt of court for re-posting subpoenaed #PPSellsBabyParts video clips played publicly in the Congressional hearing last month,” wrote Daleiden.
Orrick blocked the CMP videos in 2015. In 2021, he issued a permanent injunction prohibiting CMP from releasing hundreds of hours of undercover videos filmed during a National Abortion Federation conference. Those videos strongly appear to show Planned Parenthood’s involvement in fetal body part trafficking. NAF is accusing CMP and Daleiden of publishing the videos in violation of that permanent injunction.
In a letter to Orrick, NAF said that video clips obtained by Daleiden at NAF annual meetings in 2014 and 2015 were played at a Congressional hearing on March 19, 2024. It says the clips played obscured the faces of those depicted but that Daleiden provided additional information that he claimed to have learned at the annual meetings and identified the speakers in the videos, not by their names but by their affiliated organization and/or title and geographic location.
It continued, “Two days later, Defendants began to publish the edited clips and other information … It is that conduct that NAF contends clearly violates the Permanent Injunction.”

Daleiden responded on X by showing clips of the blocked videos mostly covered up and unviewable. While it is unclear exactly who is speaking in the videos, it is clear what is being said.
These video clips are just small excerpts of even more shocking conversations, but they clearly implicate @PPFA and @NatAbortionFed in selling aborted baby organs for valuable consideration against the law. And Judge Orrick has helped them cover it up: x.com/CtrMedProgress…
One woman in the video footage states, “I mean, we could pay you $1000 up to $1500 for a liver because that’s in such high demand…”
A second woman states, “But I think financial incentive from you guys to people we have to get this approved from will be very happy about it.”
Another woman appears to be an abortion worker. She states, “An eyeball just fell down into my lap, and that’s gross.” Laughter in the room follows.
Daleiden shared other censored video clips, including one filmed at a Planned Parenthood facility in San Francisco. Daleiden wrote, “Judge Orrick… censored this footage of @PPGulfCoast suggesting ripping the legs off a living baby to hide criminal partial-birth abortions to sell more body parts.”
Judge Orrick—who ran a @PPFA clinic in SF—censored this footage of @PPGulfCoast suggesting ripping the legs off a living baby to hide criminal partial-birth abortions to sell more body parts. BTW, she used to work at Planned Parenthood San Francisco. 🤔 x.com/CtrMedProgress…
“For 8 years federal Judge William Orrick in SF — at @PPFA @NatAbortionFed request — has censored this footage of a late-term abortion clinic owner claiming $250,000/year from selling aborted baby organs,” wrote Daleiden on X. “Judge Orrick opened, ran and funded a @PPFA clinic.”
