An elderly pro-life sidewalk counselor was the target of a pro-abortion politician’s repeated verbal harassment this weekend outside a Planned Parenthood. Pennsylvania state Rep. Brian Sims gleefully shared his conduct toward the woman on Twitter, uploading a video showing himself repeatedly calling the pro-life sidewalk counselor an “old white lady.” Sims then used the video to encourage supporters to donate to Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania which he claimed is the “most heavily protested Planned Parenthood” in the country.
Rep. Sims relentlessly grilled the woman, following her aggressively even when she turned away:
- “How many children have you clothed today?”
- “How many children have you put shoes on their feet today?”
- “Or have you just stood out in front of a PP shaming people for something they have a Constitutional right to do?”
- “If you are here about the children, you can pray at home for children.”

Live Action President, Lila Rose responded to Sims’ conduct, tweeting, “Intimidation & harassment instead of peaceful engagement with those who disagree is the opposite of what democracy is all about. Have a respectful conversation with those who disagree, do not harass and berate them. Behavior like @BrianSimsPA ‘s does not belong in public office.”
Sims’ took it upon himself to then degrade the woman’s faith, “There’s no faith that tells you – you are right and everybody else is wrong…this is disgusting, this is wrong, this is shameful.”
Live Action shared Sims’ vid on Twitter, writing, “WATCH: Pennsylvania State Representative @BrianSimsPA harasses an elderly woman who is peacefully advocating for the lives of preborn human beings and women who are considering abortion. This is shameful.”
Rep. Sims lashed out responding, “Bring it, Bible Bullies! You are bigots, sexists, and misogynists and I see right through your fake morals and your broken values. #BeReal”
The Pennsylvania representative then accused the elderly woman of being racist, because she is “white.” He says, “And don’t convince yourself that what you are doing isn’t extremely racist, How dare you, this is grotesque.”
He then added, “Who’d have thought that an old white lady would be out in front of Planned Parenthood telling people what’s right for their bodies?”
Life News pointed out on Twitter that this isn’t the first time Sims has harassed pro-lifers at Planned Parenthood. Three weeks ago he asked for viewers’ help to doxx a group of teenagers praying at the abortion facility.
This is not the first time @briansimspa has harassed pro-life women.
Three weeks ago, Brian Sims offered viewers $100 to doxx these teen girls:

But what’s interesting about Sims’ comments toward the “old white lady” is that it was an “old white lady” who founded Planned Parenthood because she believed certain women shouldn’t breed at all. Her name was Margaret Sanger, and she was heavily engrossed in eugenics and believed in the forced sterilization of those she deemed “unfit,” feeble-minded,” and even”diseased.” Her desire was for “national sterilization” for these “types of our population”:
“While I personally believe in the sterilization of the feeble-minded, the insane and syphilitic, I have not been able to discover that these measures are more than superficial deterrents when applied to the constantly growing stream of the unfit… Eugenics without Birth Control seems to us a house builded upon the sands. It is at the mercy of the rising stream of the unfit…” ~ Margaret Sanger, “Birth Control and Racial Betterment.
Sanger added, “Even this will not be sufficient, because I believe that now, immediately, there should be national sterilization for certain dysgenic types of our population who are being encouraged to breed and would die out were the government not feeding them.”
In 1934, in Sanger’s publication, “A code to stop the overproduction of children,” she suggested requiring a “license” to have children. Sanger also once boasted of her many invitations to speak to Ku Klux Klan leaders — leaving one to wonder why Planned Parenthood’s eugenicist heritage is not the focus of the Pennsylvania representative’s criticism.
Today, Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania honors their eugenicist founder with their “Margaret Sanger Circle,” seen in the organization’s 2016 and 2017 annual reports for donations of $50,000 or more.

Characterizing what the prayerful pro-life woman was doing as “disgusting,” Rep. Sims claimed — without elaboration or proof — that even though she had a “right” to be out there, she did not have a “moral right.”
According to its website, Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) commits abortions up to 16.4 weeks, and the most common abortion procedure for this age is dismemberment (D&E) abortion. Between 2017 (7,952) and 2018 (8,088), PPSP has ended the lives of over 16,000 preborn babies with abortion. Is is a “moral right” to deliberately exterminate human beings?
Perhaps Rep. Sims has never witnessed the very gruesome act he now defends. Even in the first trimester, these human beings have clearly recognizable body parts — despite the abortion industry’s claims.
According to Planned Parenthood’s own pregnancy website, (not where they advertise abortion services, notably) at 13 to 14 weeks:
- The biological sex of the fetus can sometimes be seen by looking at external sex organs on an ultrasound.
- Hair begins to grow.
- The prostate gland begins developing in biologically male fetuses.
- Ovaries move down from the abdomen to the pelvic area in biologically female fetuses.
- The roof of the mouth is formed
And between 15-16 weeks:
- The fetus has a Crown Rump Length of about 4.5 inches (12 cm).
- Hundreds of thousands of eggs form in the ovaries of biologically female fetuses.
The image to the right comes from Planned Parenthood’s “pregnancy” website. Tragically, where Planned Parenthood advertises abortion, they simply show the preborn baby as a “dot.”
Abortion is an extremely gruesome act of violence against innocent humans. Because they are smaller and less vocal than Rep. Sims, their intrinsic value and their right to life are ignored by those who would harass prayerful pro-lifers trying to call attention to the human injustice of abortion.
