Planned Parenthood: 101 years leaves 7 million dead and its top employees rich

101 years of lies. Seven million children dead. Millions of women scarred. Some of the richest CEOs in the country.

Planned Parenthood‘s president and CEO Cecile Richards is wealthy. In three years her salary managed to double to an astounding $957,952 a year. She doesn’t receive a salary that high by giving away free pregnancy tests or ultrasounds. She got rich by convincing Americans that they need abortion. As the organization that commits one-third of the abortions in the United States celebrates its 101st birthday this year, it does so on the deaths of over seven million children who never got to celebrate a single one. Meanwhile, the abortion quotas it sets have made Richards and her top staff members very, very rich. Planned Parenthood affiliate CEOs make an average of $237,999 per year – one even brings in over $500,000. This puts the average Planned Parenthood CEO in the top five percent of United States workers.

“It makes you wonder if all of these people donating to Planned Parenthood know how much of their gifts wind up in personal bank accounts,” said Jim Sedlak, executive director of American Life League. “If any other nonprofit were dishing out this kind of money to its top executives, the mainstream media would be all over it. However, in Planned Parenthood’s case, there is nothing but silence.”

When abortion first became legal back in 1973 it was based on the notion that it would be rare. However, as in any other business, money isn’t made when products and services are rarely used. Planned Parenthood knew it then, and they know it now. So they made sure abortion became anything but rare.

Marketing

Planned Parenthood started off as a birth control business. At the time, they were advertising birth control with their “every child a wanted child” slogan. Once abortion became legal, this was easily carried over to their abortion marketing. If they were going to lose birth control sales, they would need to gain abortion sales. The best way to do this was to play on women’s fears.

Anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy faces similar basic fears. From financial concerns to career complications to thoughts about sleepless nights and what other people are going to say about it. From there the fears can run even deeper – fears of their parents abandoning them, fears of their boyfriend beating them, and fears of their rapist continuing to assault them. Planned Parenthood simply told women that those fears were founded and that the only way to address them was to abort their children. They could have offered women support by helping them secure safe housing, or jobs, or childcare so they could continue their education. They could have referred women to organizations that would assist with adoption. But there’s no money to be made by giving away help and services. There is, however, money to be made from abortion, which can cost anywhere from $200 to $2,000.

Another way they realized they could make money is by reaching young people by marketing themselves as a cool and understanding organization that won’t tell mom and dad what the kids are up to. Their marketing campaign in Northern New England illustrates this tactic well. Once these kids, who are going to make major errors in using birth control, trust Planned Parenthood, they will return to them for more services, including abortion. Planned Parenthood consistently fights against parental notification laws and prides itself on targeting younger and younger children through sex education programs in schools. It’s how they create repeat business.

Lies about Fetal Development

Many women who turn to Planned Parenthood when facing an unplanned pregnancy don’t really want to abort. They are concerned about the babies they are carrying and will ask Planned Parenthood about their children’s stage of development. Planned Parenthood knows that if these girls and women understand fetal development and get a chance to see their children on the ultrasound screen, the chances of them choosing abortion drop. Therefore, they lie about fetal development by telling their patients that the preborn child is a “ball of tissue” or a “clump of cells.” They also fight laws requiring women to be offered the opportunity to view the ultrasound of their child. 78 percent of women who see their ultrasound choose life.

No Questions Asked

Planned Parenthood has been caught on camera aiding pimps and sex traffickers in their efforts to secure abortions for their victims. They had no problem keeping the secret as long as they were getting paid. In addition, there are at least 15 known cases of Planned Parenthood staff failing to report rape. In one instance, the staff member even told the victim’s mother that to report the rape would be a “hassle.” Time and time again, girls who were being sexually abused and brought to Planned Parenthood for abortions were given abortions and then sent back home with their abusers only to return again for another abortion. Planned Parenthood chose to make money over helping to save girls from abuse.

Abortion Quotas

A certificate Planned Parenthood awarded to one of its clinics “for exceeding abortion visits” — as in, committing more abortions then they had budgeted for — circulated on social media earlier this year. Planned Parenthood admitted that they award clinics for committing more abortions than expected.

“Every center had a goal for how many abortions were done, so we were very goal-oriented,” Sue Thayer, a former Planned Parenthood manager, said. “I trained my staff the way that I was trained, which was to really encourage women to choose abortion, to have it at Planned Parenthood, because that counts – you know – towards our goal.”

Thayer isn’t the only former Planned Parenthood worker to speak out on the organization’s abortion quotas.

“I felt like I was more of a salesman, sometimes, to sell abortions,” former Planned Parenthood nurse, Marianne Anderson said. “We were constantly told, ‘You have quotas to meet to stay open.’ … We were told on a regular basis that, ‘You have a quota to meet to keep this clinic open.'”

Abortion Bragging

Eventually, word got out that fetuses are human beings. As ultrasound technology advanced and pro-life efforts expanded, abortions began to decline nationally. Planned Parenthood decided to drop the word “rare” from the classic “safe, legal, and rare” abortion mantra. Instead of making abortion rare, they encouraged women to proudly proclaim that they had killed their preborn children. They declared that women shouldn’t feel shamed by their abortions, but should shout them from the rooftops – or in this case their Twitter accounts – complete with the hashtag #shoutyourabortion.

Changing their marketing tactic to suit their needs helped Planned Parenthood get where they are today – on top of the abortion industry as the organization that provides the most abortions in the country. Not only that, but as the national number of abortions dropped, the number of abortions Planned Parenthood commits continues to rise. They own the abortion market.

With their skilled marketing, lies about fetal development, and abortion quotas, Planned Parenthood was able to position itself as the number one place to go for an abortion. Their no-questions-asked policy has helped them bring in repeat business from pimps and sex traffickers and their ability to switch gears and keep their inner wolf hidden have allowed them to reach impressionable youth.

But while their number of abortions have skyrocketed, their actual health care services have steadily declined. After all, when you put all of your focus on the most profitable product you sell, your other products will fall by the wayside.
