Planned Parenthood admits violating own policies

The AP reports that Planned Parenthood of New Jersey is admitting wrongdoing in undercover video we released today:

Phyllis Kinsler, chief executive officer of Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey, added that the clinic employee’s behavior, as portrayed on the video, “violates PPCNJ policies, as well as our core values of protecting the welfare of minors and complying with the law, and appropriate action is being taken.”

So Planned Parenthood New Jersey is admitting that the undercover video we released today shows Planned Parenthood office staff violating policies and “core values” of “complying with the law” and yet their national office today tweeted out an article calling the video we released today a “hoax”. Something doesn’t have their act together. Is it a hoax or did your staff aid sex trafficking? You can’t have it both ways.

Tonight, Central Jersey Planned Parenthood fired the manager, identified in the video as Amy Woodruff, and beefed up security around its clinics.

“We were profoundly shocked when we viewed the videotape released this morning, which depicted an employee of one of our health centers behaving in a repugnant manner that is inconsistent with our standards of care and is completely unacceptable,” Phyllis Kinsler, executive director of Planned Parenthood of Central Jersey said in a statement released at 10:20 p.m.
