In the fourth and most startling undercover Planned Parenthood video from the Center for Medical Progress, Dr. Savita Ginde of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains (PPRM) admits that about 10 percent of their second trimester babies are born “intact” before the abortion procedure is done.
In an interview with CNN, CMP leader, David Daleiden, explained why StemExpress, a biotech company that partners with Planned Parenthood, is trying to suppress the release of more video tapes.
“Their leadership admitted that they sometimes get fully intact fetuses shipped to their laboratory from the abortion clinics they work with, and that could be prima facie evidence of born alive infants. And so that’s why they’re trying to suppress that videotape and they’re very scared of it.”
CMP also notes that “since PPRM does not use digoxin or other feticide in its second trimester procedures, any intact deliveries before an abortion are potentially born-alive infants under federal law (1 USC 8).”
Because Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains does not use digoxin, this would mean women who are dilated, but have not had the abortion procedure, actually go into labor and deliver—potentially a live baby.
Planed Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains may have babies being born alive because it does not use the digoxin injections some late-term abortion providers use. Digoxin is sometimes inserted into the woman’s abdomen to kill her baby before delivery, replaced partial-birth abortions after they were outlawed. Operation Rescue reports that late-term abortion doctor George Tiller pioneered this method:
The induction abortion with the use of digoxin injection was pioneered by late-term abortionist George R. Tiller of Wichita, Kansas, and is now widely used throughout the United States by the few abortionists who are willing to admit they do the late-term procedures. It has replaced the live partial birth abortion method since the Partial Birth Abortion Ban act was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court in April, 2007.
But Dr. Ginde — chief abortionist at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains — says, “Sometimes, we get- if someone delivers before we get to see them for a procedure, then they are intact, but that’s not what we go for” (transcript, page 4).
Whether it is “what they go for” or not, if this happens even one time, it is now infanticide, which is exactly what Kermit Gosnell is in prison for. Gosnell, who killed babies born alive, is generally seen as an aberration in the abortion community, but this video shows Gosnell-like mentality within taxpayer-funded Planned Parenthood.
On the video, Dr. Ginde is seen discussing intact deliveries with a casual, callous tone:
Buyer: If you can kind of play around with that lower range I think, if the specimens are coming out more intact. So that, I guess, we will kind of get a first hand look at that today, later on. How many procedures are scheduled-When we’re talking about intact specimen’s, how many of those do you see?
Ginde: Intact specimens?
Buyer: Yes, within-what’s your volume on an average Tuesday?
Ginde: With second tris? Anywhere as low as three up to seven.
Buyer: Ok, and so intact?
Ginde: Intact. So we do basically D&Es. Intact is less than ten percent.
Buyer: Ok. Less than ten percent. (Transcript, 2-3)
Live Action’s “Inhuman” investigation reveals how abortionists are willing to commit infanticide. The tape includes a clip of Alisa LaPolt Snow with Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, who testified before the Florida House of Representatives against the “Infants Born Alive” bill. As House members question her, she insists that even when a baby is born alive as a result of a botched abortion, “we believe any decision that’s made should be up to the-the woman, her family and the physician…That decision should be between the patient and the healthcare provider.”
Representative Jose Oliva asked, “I think at that point the patient would be the child struggling on the table don’t you agree?” LaPolt Snow responded that she couldn’t answer his “really good question.
Infanticide is indisputably murder, and the abortion giant must be investigated thoroughly — including all facilities at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains.
