Since the fall of Roe v. Wade, abortion advocates have claimed without proof that those in the pro-life movement will abandon women facing unplanned pregnancies. Many in the pro-life movement already do much to help women and families, but as countless companies begin to incentivize and pay for employees’ abortions in various ways, one pro-life business and one church in particular have outlined their plans to provide real help to families and pregnant women.
Pursuit — a Washington church with more than one location — celebrated the fall of Roe, calling it the end to “50 years of state-sanctioned genocide.” The next day, the church released new policies to help employees build a culture of life. Pursuit announced it would pay the adoption travel costs for employees adopting children — in Washington, out of state, and out of the country. Employees who volunteer for pro-life causes will also be reimbursed for their efforts. In addition, Pursuit will offer free childcare to all full-time employees, and bonuses for part-time employees who become pregnant.
“If the church can’t celebrate this moment, it’s probably because we have gotten so used to fitting in, that standing out makes us uncomfortable,” Pastor Russell Johnson wrote on Instagram. The church also shared a powerful clip of the pastor discussing the fall of Roe v. Wade:

Likewise, Buffer Insurance has announced its plan to support families. In a post on Facebook the company wrote:
How Buffer responds to Roe v. Wade:

+ Buffer will pay for the medical costs associated with adopting a baby

In addition, Live Action founder and president Lila Rose issued a five-part call to action for the pro-life movement now that Roe is overturned. These include working to enact state and federal protections for the preborn, engaging in digital activism, creating an active ground game to combat abortions, supporting pregnancy resource centers, and promoting a new sexual ethic.
“We have a long way to go before we make abortion unthinkable in our nation and worldwide. And we have a massive road ahead toward building a culture of life,” she said, adding, “We will not have true justice until our nation acknowledges that under our Constitution, every American born or preborn has an inherent right to life protected by our Constitution’s 14th Amendment… Roe v. Wade is finished And the work of the pro-life movement is just getting started. Let’s be the generation that says, ‘enough,’ and makes abortion not only illegal, but unthinkable.”
