Several student members of the Students for Life chapter at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) were assaulted and continue to be cyberbullied after putting up a pro-life display on campus on October 28.

Students for Life of America detailed the incident on its website:

On October 28th, 2021, Students for Life at UTSA had a Cemetery of the Innocents display on campus. They had several very productive conversations; however, several students came up to block their display. The pro-choice students blocking the display worked to persuade anyone trying to have a conversation to walk away, but Students for Life at UTSA didn’t stop trying to reach people to discuss the display.

One female student approached the group and began yelling insults at the group. Before walking away, she spat on one of the officers. Next, she hit a member’s face while simultaneously smacking his phone to the ground.

The article goes on to detail that the Dean of Students witnessed the attack a police report has been filed. Unfortunately, the group is reporting that one of the pro-abortion students is continuing to harass and bully the pro-lifers on Instagram.

The incident is just the latest in what seems to be a growing trend of violence and viciousness on college campuses towards people speaking out in defense of life. Live Action News recently reported three instances of vandalism of pro-life displays at Wellesley College, Dartmouth College, and Xavier University, with all of those incidents happening in October. And the vandalism isn’t the worst problem — as was seen at UTSA, some of the attacks are getting physical. This isn’t the first time that pro-life students have been assaulted for their beliefs.

While pro-life students aim to educate about the truth of abortion in a peaceful manner, the pro-abortion side is quick to react with anger and violence. But attacks against pro-lifers rarely get the media coverage or response that is due. Pro-life students who are willing to stand up to the violence are bravely taking a stand for life and demonstrating how committed they are to spreading the truth about the inherent right to life for all human beings.
