Planned Parenthood likes to tout polls supposedly indicating that a majority of Americans support their organization. But the truth is that many Americans oppose Planned Parenthood – and are ever-ready to demonstrate their opposition. That’s probably why details about Planned Parenthood’s latest slew of rallies, scheduled for tomorrow across the state of Texas, have been kept airtight. And they’re targeting pro-life stalwarts, like Senator Ted Cruz.
Yesterday, Planned Parenthood supporters received a vague email from the field director of Planned Parenthood Texas Votes, Jamarr Brown. The email bashed the state of Texas for canceling the abortion giant’s Medicaid contract, ominously warning that “Cutting off Medicaid recipients from health care and deploying harassing tactics against health care providers is a shocking new low.”
These “harassing tactics” came in the form of subpoenas for documents from Planned Parenthood centers across the state – a follow-up to the state’s announcement that Planned Parenthood was no longer eligible for Medicaid funding due to their law-breaking behavior, which includes multiple instances of unrestrained Medicaid fraud.
Pro-lifers all over the state will be attending the secret rallies to peacefully support Texas’ efforts to redirect funding to more deserving health centers which a) are not guilty of defrauding Texas taxpayers of their hard-earned money, and b) are not affiliated with the abortion industry.
