Live Action hosted a “Stop the Killing” rally today in Washington, D.C. in front of abortionist Cesare Santangelo’s clinic, which is located only a few blocks away from the White House. Dr. Santangelo is the latest subject of Live Action’s latest undercover investigation, Inhuman, and was caught saying that he would refuse medical care to an infant born alive after an abortion. Santangelo admitted that he had a legal obligation to help the baby, but he still “probably wouldn’t.”
Live Action president Lila Rose led today’s rally, which was attended by an estimated 120 people. As the rally progressed, people on the streets stopped to listen and participate. A number of pro-life leaders were in attendance, including abortion survivor Melissa Ohden, Susan B. Anthony List president and Chairman of the Board Marjorie Dannenfelser, 40 Days for Life National Director David Bereit, and more.
Jill Stanek, who spoke at the rally, noted that a number of media outlets attended the rally, including CNN, the Washington Post, the Washington Times, and the Media Research Center.
Live Action is calling for Cesare Santangelo to be delicensed and prosecuted after being caught on tape agreeing to deny medical care to a baby who survives an abortion.
