TONIGHT: #TacoOrBeer4LIFE social media takeover

Tonight, participants in the “Taco or Beer Challenge” will gather in DC to eat tacos, drink beer, and donate to the DC Abortion Fund. The fund pays for women in DC to be able to kill their children through abortion. The Taco or Beer Challenge is a spinoff of the wildly popular ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Abortion advocate Andrea Grimes, who thought up the abortion-funding counterpart to the Ice Bucket Challenge, said she wanted to offer a fun alternative to pouring a bucket of ice water on yourself.

Those who have participated in the Taco or Beer Challenge have taken a photo of themselves eating tacos and drinking beer, posting them to social media with the hash tag #TacoOrBeerChallenge. Many also say they have donated to abortion funds in the process.

Texas Right to Life has decided to host a similar event to show the abortion industry that we will always defend life where they promote death. To this end, they have created a Facebook event, encouraging pro-life participants to use the hash tag #TacoOrBeer4LIFE on social media today. Participants are also invited to make a donation to a pregnancy resource center, ensuring that the work of abortion funds is counteracted with life-affirming alternatives. tacoorbeer2

Texas Right to Life suggests some sample tweets that can be copied and pasted right into Twitter of a Facebook status, including the following:

Because women deserve better than #abortion, I am committing to the #TacoOrBeer4LIFE challenge. #Prolife #TacoOrBeerChallenge @McAllenPC

Abortion funds hurt women and children. Donate to a LIFE-affirming alternative! #TacoOrBeer4LIFE mpcpregnancy.org @McAllenPC
