An undercover sting published by the group Gays Against Groomers alleges that Planned Parenthood of Greater New York (PPGNY) referred an actor posing as a 14-year-old child seeking “gender-affirming” services to another organization willing to hide the child’s transition from her parents.
While Planned Parenthood is a top provider of so-called “gender-affirming” services, the organization, which normalizes changing gender anytime you ‘feel’ like it, has thus far only been willing to provide hormone injections to minors at a limited number of affiliates. And, yet as this video documents, the organization is apparently willing to refer minors for life altering drugs.

In the video, the actor who posed as 14-year-old “Kelly Johnson” was seeking “gender transition treatment” without parental consent, when she allegedly called Planned Parenthood of Greater New York (PPGNY) and spoke to Marinella.
“I’m a little nervous,” says “Kelly,” who adds, “I’ve come out to my parents as trans, and they don’t want to help me out.”
“Kelly” then makes it clear that “I’m only 14 years old” and says, “I was calling because someone gave me information that you guys could help me out.”
“Okay, let me see if we do services for underage,” the Planned Parenthood spokesperson tells “Kelly.” The spokesperson later states that the center is “only doing services if you’re over 18.”
When “Kelly” asks Planned Parenthood if there is anyone else that can assist her, Marinella quickly directs her to Community Healthcare, providing her a phone number.
“You got this,” the Planned Parenthood spokesperson assures “Kelly.”

Planned Parenthood Greater New York (PPGNY) recorded 28,086 abortions in its 2022 annual report, where it claimed to be “Doubling Down on Abortion Access.” PPGNY also recorded 2,841 “transgender hormone therapy” (THT) services in its 2021AR and 3,843 in 2022. The affiliate has also been the subject of several allegations of racism even after the organization renounced its racist “white supremacist” founder, Margaret Sanger for which the PPGNY affiliate was named.
Nationally, Planned Parenthood openly promotes puberty blockers to minors and will “service” underage clients in limited locations with either a parent or guardian’s consent. In one example, the Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida (PPSWCF) affiliate claims to “provide[] estrogen and testosterone hormone therapy to approximately 1,900 patients a year, including minors as young as 14 with parental consent after an extensive evaluation process,” the group’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Robyn Schickler told Governing.com in February of 2023.
Community Healthcare Network
In the video mentioned above, the actor calls the organization referred to her by Planned Parenthood, Community Healthcare Network, where she speaks to a man named Brian. She tells him Planned Parenthood referred her because she “is underage.”
“I’m only 14, and I’m trans,” she tells Brian. “I don’t feel like I’m in the body that I’m supposed to be in.”
Brian then tells “Kelly” that if she is looking for hormonal therapy, “we can do that.”
He then tells “Kelly” that to hide these “treatments” from her parents, she would be “put on a ‘Code Cindy’.”
What is ‘Code Cindy’?
“So, Code Cindys are just – we reach out to the patient and only to the patient,” Brian said. “Whatever number you provide to your chart is the number we will reach. I can also put into your chart no mail- so you will not be mailed at all.”
“If anyone ever calls for you, we can’t disclose any information if it’s not you,” Brian added. “We help underage patients receive the care that they need and want as long as it’s not harmful to oneself. We try to help you out the best we can.”
Brian then set up an appointment for “Kelly” with a “Dr. Carmichael.”
The organization’s website reveals that there is a family physician listed by the name of Dr. Connor Carmichael.
“I’m going to ask you for your birth name, but I am also going to put your preferred name in the chart,” Brian stated.
“Kelly” told Brian to use the name Michael, since she identifies as a transgender male.
Brian claims that even if “Kelly’s” parents were to contact the facility and provide some identifying information, the “tags” placed on her chart would prevent her parents from accessing any information about their minor daughter.
“The way the tags work is that anytime someone calls with regard to your name, date of birth, they have to confirm it’s you. Now, the only way since you’re Code Cindy, the only that they can confirm it is you – usually we need three pieces of information to confirm it’s you. It would be your name, date of birth, and an email,” Brian told “Kelly.”
“The tags – let’s say your mom calls and she somehow knew your name, date of birth, and an email – or your dad. The tags are going to ask them to identify themselves, and then if they come up as either mom or dad then the representative will have to decline the call,” Brian explained. “But, since you’re not getting any mail to your address, there should be no reason for them to ever know that you’re getting services from us.”
Community Health Network has partnered with PPGNY for events online and claims to be part of the Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers (FQHC) community which “participates in the federal medical professional liability program known as the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).”
To document the call, the online outlet the Kansas Constitutional reached out to “Kelly Johnson” at the Gays Against Groomers Kansas Chapter and she provided the media outlet with evidence that she was indeed scheduled for an appointment at the facility, which can be viewed here.
This undercover sting is reminiscent of one conducted in 2002 by the pro-life group Life Dynamics, which also utilized an actor calling and posing as a 14-year-old child to document the way Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry covered for child sexual predators.
Later, Live Action conducted a similar undercover sting documenting the organization’s failure to report child sexual abuse. Live Action’s Aiding Abusers series later cited actual criminal cases exposing Planned Parenthood’s systemic cover-up of child abuse.
