Whistleblower bombshell: China is forcing infanticide on ethnic minorities

China

Xinjiang hospitals were regularly committing late-term abortions, as well as infanticide, on Uighur women, according to an OB/GYN who worked in the region for 15 years. In an interview with Radio Free Asia, Hasiyet Abdulla claimed hospital wards implemented forced family-planning policies — including forced abortions, birth control, and the murder of infants — on Uighur women and other ethnic minorities.

Abdulla, who currently lives in Turkey, said Uighurs living in rural areas were told they could only have three children; urban dwellers were allowed two. She also stated they were forced to separate pregnancies by three years. If a woman gave birth to a child in less than a three-year span, the baby was reportedly killed.

“Every hospital had a family-planning unit that was responsible for implementation — who had how many kids, when they’d given birth to them — they tracked all of this,” she said. “The regulations were so strict: there had to be three or four years between children. There were babies born at nine months who we killed after inducing labor. They did that in the maternity wards, because those were the orders.”

Abdulla also insinuated that the orders came from the Chinese government, and that hospitals were forced to comply with infanticide if babies were born outside the family-planning limits. “[T]hey would kill them and dispose of the body. They wouldn’t give the baby to the parents — they kill the babies when they’re born,” she said. “It’s an order that’s been given from above, it’s an order that’s been printed and distributed in official documents. Hospitals get fined if they don’t comply, so of course they carry this out.”

These claims come on the heels of a report from earlier this summer, alleging that China was forcibly sterilizing Uighur women, as well as forcing them into abortions and birth control. Women who do not comply are reportedly sent to concentration camps.

It is believed that over a million Uighurs are being held in concentration camps by the Chinese government. There, women in particular face sexual violence and torture, including gang rape. Other prisoners are likewise tortured in gruesome fashion. Other prisoners have said they were subjected to medical experimentation, and others have died after their organs were harvested — without anesthesia — while they were still alive. Yet much of the world remains largely silent as China continues to carry out genocide against innocent people.
