The abortion industry claims to represent the health and welfare of women, but a look inside the walls of facilities across the country tells another story. These abortionists do not care for the often vulnerable women who enter their clinics. Instead, in many cases, the mothers are told to shut up and stop crying. They are treated roughly, inhumanely, and unsafely. Countless women have also been forced to abort after they change their minds.
Women who have dared to speak out reveal the atrocities committed by America’s most notorious abortionists.
Texas abortionist, Douglas Karpen violently killed babies even after they were born alive from an attempted abortion. His former surgical assistant, Deborah Edge, spoke out:
When he [Karpen] did an abortion, especially an over 20 week abortion, most of the time the fetus would come completely out before he cut the spinal cord or he introduced one of the instruments into the soft spot of the fetus, in order to kill the fetus. …
She described how some babies would emerge too soon and would be alive, moving, and breathing. She also told of how Karpen would sometimes deliver the babies feet first with the toes wiggling until he stabbed them with a surgical implement. At the moment the toes would suddenly splay out before going limp. Sometimes he would kill the babies by ‘twisting the head off the neck,’ according to Edge.
But not all the babies came out intact. When there was difficulty, Karpen would dismember them, a process that was, according to the surgical assistant Deborah Edge, a bloody mess.
‘Sometimes he couldn’t get the fetus out,’ she explained. ‘He would yank pieces – piece by piece – when they were oversize. And I’m talking about the whole floor dirty. I’m talking about me drenched in blood.’

Planned Parenthood abortionist Ronald Berman also joins the ranks of other Planned Parenthood abortionists, like the one in Delaware, whose own nurses spoke out against his horrific treatment of women.
The latest undercover video on Planned Parenthood reveals disturbing details about Berman, who angrily paces the halls, waiting for another woman to viciously and speedily insert instruments into her to tear apart or suction out her baby. Berman works for both Planned Parenthood and StemExpress – the company that purchases the baby parts Planned Parenthood sells.
Berman’s sadistic actions and lack of care for women should serve to remind women of the horrific track record of many abortionists.
[T]wo nurses exposed Planned Parenthood’s own “House of Horrors” in Wilmington, Delaware for its “meat-market style of assembly-line abortions” performed by an abortionist who refused to wear gloves, reused contaminated instruments, and hired untrained workers for medical duties.
An ABC News report further detailed this Planned Parenthood abortionist’s actions. (Five botched abortions were performed at this clinic in as many weeks.)
Jayne Mitchell-Werbrich, former employee said, “It was just unsafe. I couldn’t tell you how ridiculously unsafe it was.” …
“He didn’t wear gloves,” said Werbrich.
Another former employee, Joyce Vasikonis told Action News, “They were using instruments on patients that were not sterile.”
The former nurses claim that a rush to get patients in and out left operating tables soiled and unclean.
Werbrich said “It’s not washed down, it’s not even cleaned off. It has bloody drainage on it.” …
Both of these nurses said, they quit to protect their own medical licenses, stunned by what they called a meat-market style of assembly-line abortions.
Complete inhumanity
Ayanna Byer described in a lawsuit how an abortionist employed by Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains forced her to abort her baby. Pieces of the baby were left inside Byer, and she had to seek emergency medical attention at a hospital to save her own life:
At this time, Plaintiff immediately told the Planned Parenthood Doctor to stop and that she did not want to go through with the abortion procedure because she had not received any anesthetic.
Plaintiff also informed Planned Parenthood Doctor and agents or employees of Planned Parenthood Defendants that she believed this to be a sign she should not go through with the abortion. The Planned Parenthood Doctor did not stop despite Plaintiff’s request, and assured Plaintiff the I.V. would be administered and the procedure would only take a few minutes.
At this time, the Planned Parenthood Doctor turned on the vacuum machines and told Plaintiff it was too late to stop.
Itai Gravely also filed her own lawsuit against a different abortionist, Rodney Lee Stephens, who she claims forced her to have an abortion and then, left the baby’s head inside of her.
…Itai Gravely, claims [abortionist, Rodney Lee] Stephens forced her to proceed with an abortion against her will and then left her baby’s head in her womb. …
Gravely v. Stephens, filed in Kanawha County Circuit Court, alleges that 26 year-old Gravely changed her mind before the abortion process began when Women’s Health Center could not provide her with adequate anesthesia. Ignoring her pain and instructions to not begin the abortion procedure, Stephens directed employees to physically restrain Gravely and proceeded with the abortion.
For the sake of women and children everywhere, Planned Parenthood’s doors must be shut. Whether a particular abortionist has been publicly reported on or not, women can be confident that when they walk through those doors, they will be subjected to a meat-market operation.
Even if they change their minds, they may not be allowed to walk out.
